Leila
Leila moved to NYC from San Francisco in 2006 to study dance and in the midst, found yoga. She realized that this was what truly called to her and moved back to San Francisco in 2010 to teach and continue her training.
Leila loves that yoga is an empowering physical, mental, and spiritual practice. Cultivating body and breath awareness, the stillness that lies in the body, and the transformational properties of the practice are her chief interests when it comes to teaching yoga. Leila’s class will encourage you to move internally and focus on your breath so that you find a deeper connection to your body, which will result in a deeper connection to your life outside the yoga room. She combines what she has learned in her varied practices of Bhakti, Bikram, and Power Flow into a dynamic, joyful, and fun Vinyasa class of sweat and relaxation! Leila has her 200 hour certification in accordance with Yoga Alliance from Yoga to the People, a donation based Power Vinyasa studio she discovered while living in the East Village, NYC. She is currently working towards her 500 hour certification with Rusty Wells and teaches in San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Katherine
Katherine is a San Francisco based Vinyasa yoga teacher who began her practice after years of professional ballet training in NYC. Equipped with body awareness and discipline from a young age, she was naturally drawn to yoga as path for growth. Since beginning her journey, she has studied many styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara, Tantra, Bikram and Power Yoga. Her unique classes integrate fluid movement with positive energy to create a safe space for acceptance and growth. Jacqueline
With a history of love for movement, Jacqueline fell in love with yoga after one class in 2000. A curious and compulsively inquisitive nature has led her to many trainings including a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training from Laughing Lotus, an It's Yoga Kids training, and a pre/postnatal yoga training to name a few. A perpetual student of the universe, she continues to seek knowledge, and is always grateful to her teachers, guru's and the guru within. She leads a dynamic, heart-centered, vinyasa flow class where the breath is linked with asana (poses) in a devotional dance and moving meditation. She hopes her classes encourage students to explore their true selves, recognize oneness, awaken and grow, all while nurturing their needs and being mindful (this doesn't mean they aren't ever challenging ;)). Her classes create a safe space to catch the present, be joyful, breathe, and be Yoga.
Sophie
As a body worker, Sophie has a passion for anatomy and kinesiology. When she discovered Pilates, she found another way to connect with her anatomical body. That concept of control generated from the center helped her improve her postural awareness, and she gained strength, and stability in the process. With Pilates she became more aware of her own structural imbalances. She was inspired with pilates and its interesting way of building strength, and could see how its approach would benefit many people. She decided to undertake a teacher training, and she studied with Lara Hudson at Mercury Fitness in San Francisco. As a former Yoga instructor, Sophie can see how both practices complement each other. Her goal in the teaching is to help people being aware of their breathing, engage the core muscles, and maintain their alignment.
